After all I said about intending to update this blog on a daily basis...Well, waht can I say? Two computer crashes and a bout of depression and a long drinking session all too soon put paid to that. But her I am, back again!
So... Long gymslip? Short gymslip? Skirt and blouse? What would be your prefference if in control of such an institution as depicted her?
Another Qustion: Is it permissable - or even desireable - to chose a colour for a girl's uniform other than the usual brown, navey blue, bottle green, grey etc?
The scenario here is that they are forced to exercise to exhaustion in full 'school type' uniform before then being resturned to the schoolroomjust as they are, their uniforms soaked in sweat, where upon they are made to write a long essay about the folly of feminist beleifs based on a long, recorded, lecture on the subject they have had to listen to and io memorise earlirer. For this reason I decided upon a long heavyweight serge gymslip teamed with a thick polyester blouse.

Loved the pictures, well done.
If I was in control of the institution they would wear short navy blue pleated skirts with a thin white blouse through which their old fashion longline brasserie could be seen. Beneath their skirts they would wear heavy duty red rubber knickers. They would also wear white ankle socks. I think navy blue gives that I institutional feel.
In my opinion long gymslips are better. Nit looking better but are better. If it's an institution I believe it should be for modesty and traditional looks as well. Turning "bad" girls into some sort of "good" ones.
